Kombolcha Poultry Resource Development Enterprise
Kombolcha Poultry Resource Development Enterprise (KPRD) was established in 1985 GC and has been serving the Ethiopian poultry industry for over 35 years by being an important center for the distribution of improved layer chicken breeds. KPRD is owned by the Government and is being run as a governmental development institution. The KPRD company imports parent stock of Bovans Brown poultry breeds. Next to selling quality day-old chicks of the Bovans Brown chicken breed, Kombolcha Poultry Resource Development Enterprise also is active in keeping laying hens themselves to produce table eggs for the Ethiopian market.
