IMSA–HG Technical Seminar Strengthens the Presence of Bovans White in Mérida, Yucatán

This week we were welcomed by the vibrant city of Mérida, Yucatán for a very successful edition of “Pláticas Técnicas Bovans.” With its warm atmosphere and strong poultry tradition, Southeast Mexico once again showed why Bovans White has earned such a strong position among local egg producers.

The seminar brought together 50 professionals representing more than 8 million Bovans White hens in the region. Having so much practical experience in one room created an ideal setting for learning, exchanging ideas and discussing future opportunities for continued growth.

Throughout the day, we focused on practical management topics that help producers get the most out of Bovans White. Our experts covered feeding strategies tailored to the bird, nutritional advice for each phase of the long production cycle, and proven management practices that support the health and performance of both PS and commercial flocks. The discussions clearly showed how genetic potential and consistent management go hand in hand.

The strong engagement from the attendees once again underlined the close cooperation between local producers, Hendrix Genetics and our distributor IMSA–Sanfer led by Dr. José Luis Avilés and his team. As Bovans White continues to demonstrate reliable results and robustness behavior in the region, sessions like “Pláticas Técnicas Bovans” remain an important platform to stay connected and share practical knowledge.

The day ended with positive energy and a shared ambition to keep strengthening production in Yucatán in the years ahead.
