end of 2024 Season Greetings
As 2024 comes to a close, we take this moment to reflect on a year filled with both challenges and achievements. This year reminded us of the resilience of the egg industry, the strength of our partnerships, and the enduring potential of genetic innovation.
The passing of our dear colleague Arian Groot was a great loss for our company. Arian dedicated 40 years to Hendrix Genetics, leaving a legacy of passion for our customers and our chickens. His contributions to the global egg industry continue to inspire us, and he will forever hold a place in our hearts.
Despite the challenges faced globally, 2024 has been a strong year for the global egg industry. Egg prices have been favorable in many regions, reflecting the consistent demand for sustainable and high-quality animal protein. As the industry evolves—whether through changing consumer preferences or new regulations around animal welfare and sustainability—we remain committed to supporting you with our market and product knowledge.
Our dedication to strengthening customer relationships has been a cornerstone of our success this year. Through technical trainings, farm visits, seminars, research collaborations, and customer events such as those at the 2024 Dubai Technical Training School, we’ve worked closely with you to share knowledge, grow together, and ensure your continued success. Together, we’ve not only expanded into new markets but also strengthened our position as a trusted partner.
At the heart of our work is a commitment to continuous genetic progress. This year, we’ve celebrated many eggcellent results in the field and in the independent Random Sample Tests. We are proud to see our breeds perform well all over the globe, and clearly add more value every year to the global egg industry. By focusing on health, welfare, egg laying persistency, and efficiency, we ensure that the Hendrix Genetics laying hens meet the demands of today’s markets while contributing to a more sustainable future.
As we close 2024, we are deeply grateful for your trust and collaboration. Your confidence in Hendrix Genetics and our laying hen breeds drives us to continuously invest in our R&D program, keep on innovating, in order to fulfill your expectations year after year.
