Layer Vision, Issue 22 Now Available

All over the world, eggs continue to be an important source of protein. Affordable, nutritious and versatile, no matter your culture, eggs have a place on the global menu. However, each region has their own production system, management style, and consumer preferences in egg size and color. In this Layer Vision, we will highlight a few different regions to explore their egg market, including product preferences and consumer needs.

With the goal of breeding a healthy hen for longer cycles, our products contain the genetic potential necessary for our customers to succeed. Recent results from the Gunma independent trials show the strength of our products in eggs per hen housed and feed per egg produced. As this is one of the most trusted independent trials in the industry, we are pleased to showcase product performance that egg producers can rely upon.

Turning to a review of future technological developments, egg sexing technology is expected to be the next big innovation. Solving the challenge of male day-old-chick culling has the potential to address animal welfare concerns and increase sustainability. In this issue we will review the latest updates and technologies closest to the market.

We are also pleased to share some of our recent resources to help you succeed in your business, including a new website and hatchery guide. If you would like to connect with a member of our team, take a look at our upcoming event overview to learn where you can find us.
